Post. Ever.
Hoorah!
Breakfast at Fran's after a night of checking the time (you know that it's-Christmas-tomorrow feeling?), a close call regarding my UK passport at the border (I know everyone's got a story about the chipper US customs agents), playing spot-the-pedestrian in downtown Buffalo (count: 3), and coffee, finally.
En route! To New York. It's the third time I've been in about 14 months so it feels like I'm going to the cottage or something. In that it's familiar and I don't have a map and will spend the time walking around and reading.
So I've fretted and planned and organized and over-analyzed and now we're going, going, gone. Time to "just lay back and let it happen," as Myles would say.
Chad loaned us a miniature laptop with a miniature keyboard. And this is my miniature first post!
